Mads Colvin is a Melbourne-based creative director with an approach that draws on her background in storytelling, photography, styling, visual art and literature.
She specialises in creating holistic campaigns, collaborating to produce cohesive visual narratives that reflect each artist and their music. Mads works in digital and traditional film formats and excels in guiding artists to simplify their creative vision to help listeners connect to their music.
Mads worked with Woodes in 2020 to create the stunning visuals for her debut album, Crystal Ball. More recently, she has been the creative director of the visuals that will be on Woodes’ upcoming music releases.
Mads also enjoys working with artists to capture the spirit of live performances, including styling, production design, and photography.
Mads holds a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing from the University of Melbourne and is currently working on her postgraduate fine art photography studies at VCA. Her personal photography projects explore motherhood, domesticity, care and autism as well as the occasional medieval subculture.
